First we need to learn the cubes of very number from 1 to 10 which is very easy.

Now remember the last digit of cube of every number.

The easy way to remember is

The last digit remain same for 

1,4,5,6,9,0

last digit flips for 

2 & 8 , 3 & 7

Now lets take an example:

what is the cube root of 300763?

Step1.

Look at the last digit, which is 3

so, as the last digit is 3 we flip it for 7

the last digit of our answer is 7

Step2.

Ignore the last 3 digits of number i.e, 763

now find the number whose cube is closest to remaining digits without going over the number.

remaining digits were 300,

now the the number which have the cube closest to 300 is 6

so the answer for the cube root is 67.
